New Reception child to Great Bookham School

We understand that starting Reception class is a big step for both children and parents. Our aim is to ensure we give your child the best possible start at school.

New starters can expect before joining us, a parent information evening in the summer, where practical information for new starters will be shared. Children and parents will have several opportunities for 'tea and toy's and 'stay and play' sessions towards the end of the summer term before your child starts with us, to familiarise themselves with the classroom and staff.

The Reception team will also make contact with parents to arrange a home visit.
